For those looking for service, let me share my story with Surfside, online adds say free estimate, free quotes, and no unexpected expenses with advance notice of fees. Called about AC not working they came out, found out what was wrong quoted what i thought was a high price. And when i said i was going to check around they said he had to bill me for service call for $150, that i could get back if i used them for service, no choice but to pay. I called company to complain and got the run around, someone would call me back, no luck pictures show thier claim free estimates. And quotes no fees that are not explained upfront but when i shopped around for better pricing, they charge a fee. Classic bait and switch, false advertising...

charged $475 to run camera in pipes & said only grease. another plumber ran cameras & showed me what was stuck in pipe & pipe busted, causing grease buildup. don't recommend.

also, called same company to evaluate AC. said too small for the space & promised to write up toshow landlord. never did, even after 3 follow up calls. just as well, wrong about that as well. A competent hvac technician said installed incorrectly so blowing a lot if air outside instead of inside. If you want to waste time & money, call Surfside.

Pleasantly surprised. Air-conditioning repair and the dentist are the two visits no one looks forward to. Eric came out and was very educational throughout the whole visit. We will definitely use them in the future.

Had them replace my hot water heater. They came and gave me an estimate on site everyone else tried to give me a estimate over the phone without actually seeing the job entailed. Came back the next day
and did a great job. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Excellent service company for the Mobile and Baldwin counties. Plumber was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions regarding water heater issue. I've also used their electrical department and they were friendly, helpful and gave me a call when they were on their way to my home. Will be calling again if needed!

I asked on Thursday last week for someone to come look at our gas generator. Very specific with the receptionist about my needs. Scheduled an appointment.

TODAY:

What the what?!!!

After waiting until noon, I called and then the receptionist told me the appointment was cancelled because they do not work on my type of generator.

No call to me, just cancelled. What?! Could have been handled last week when I called.

But, if I am expecting you, call!!!

One of the best experiences I have ever had with a repair company. The staff were so helpful, courteous and prompt. I am a recent widow and so many times I have felt pressured or taken advantage of, but not with this company. I will be calling them for all future needs!

Did an excellent job for me! Cannot stress enough: as many rental properties I have it can be a challenge and expensive to find a good handyman service. Well, Surfside was affordable and has always been available.

I've used them for a number of projects, and I've used the people who own/operate Surfside well before they went into business together to open Surfside. Originally it was separate companies, lawn, handyman, and plumbing, and now they all came together to create an amazing customer experience.

I've been very pleased and am looking forward to when they add their electrical and HVAC division!
