Rapid Service began in 1987 when Andy Hul started a small plumbing business after several years working for a firm in Avon. Word of mouth and customer referrals grew that business. In 1993 Andy joined with electrician Jay Lassow and opened Rapid Service Plumbing, Heating, Electrical, Carpentry & Remodeling.

The company added staff and equipment over the years and broadened its offerings to include HVAC and electrical work. Though Jay Lassow later passed away, Rapid Service continued under Andy's leadership and long local ties.
