Had an expensive Trane unit installed by them several years ago. Come to find out after about five years and performance was waning that it was not big enough for the space, so inadequate measurement/planning and because of that it did not cool properly. Had the Premier maintenance plan, but a couple of times something had to be replaced that they stated was not covered (so I quit the program). Also found out from a former employee that the turnover on personnel/technicians was immense, which tells you something. Just don't go there. McKelvey can get you a Trane if you want one and their maintenance program is a lot less expensive.

From out of state, was quoted $455 for a job that we repaired for less than $100 from licensed plumber. Total rip off

woke up the other day and had no hot water. I scheduled an appointment online and went to work, my daughter was home to let them in. We were told our hot water heater was completely dead and needed replacing and it would cost $3000! A friend of a friend came and looked at it, the pilot light was out! It cost me $25 and they were going to take advantage of me removing my working hot water heater to put a new one in! I can't believe that anyone could be so dishonest!

Needed plumbing service on a Saturday, this was the only company offering service. Took awhile for them to arrive but I was told it would and of course being after normal business hours the service was expensive; still they solved the problem and I was glad for that.

Upon the purchase of a new washer and dryer, while hooking it up, my cold water valve broke. Of course, it happened on the weekend, so I had to make a call for plumbing help because I could not get the valve off. I called a different company at 10 am on Saturday morning, only to wait ALL DAY for a plumber, they never came! No apology no nothing, I called Premier the next morning (Sunday) and Virgil was at my home in less than 2 hours. While he could not get it completely repaired because of parts, he was able to cap it and give us back our water. The next morning at 8 am, Virgil was back, and had it completed in 30 minutes. VERY HAPPY with the service, The service operator even called back the next day to make sure everything was fine, and that I was completely satisfied. Very Easy to work with them. They have my recommendation.

Horrible experience. I booked through my nonprofit for them to come out to a residential property two weeks in advance only for them to call me 30 mins before they were supposed to come out and say they don't work with businesses. Weird because they had someone working with a business below where I lived at the time. Regardless, the woman was very rude when I asked her why they couldn't have called before and her response was ""I said we don't work with commercial"". Rude, unprofessional people. Will never recommend.

Everyone I have ever worked with at Premier Service has been friendly, helpful, on-time and most of all courteous. I'm fairly new to the area and the technicians are always giving me suggestions on where to find hard to find items, local restaurants or just fun places to go. And best of all they do their work well and with pride. They may be a little higher priced than other companies but they make up for that with exceptional service!

I have used this company for years for refrigeration repair and had never had any problems. I even joined their Comfort Plus program where they inspect the system and change the filters twice a year. I found them prompt and professional on my air conditioning needs.
I recently had a new stove installed and the power source blocked the stove from going all the way to the wall so I called them to have them recess it into the wall. They came out and had brought the wrong receptacle so had to go get the right one. It took them less than an hour including getting the right part to do the work. When they were done the bill was $414.79. My wife paid it and I called and asked to talk to the owner. I asked him why so high and was I paying for the guy to go get the correct part and he said ""someone has to"". He said he would check into it. I got an email that the only thing that was wrong was I did not receive my ten percent discount for being a comfort plus member but that my Comfort Plus dues had not been paid for this year. I told the bookkeeper that I had paid it the month before. She said that I had not so I had to give her the cancelled check info and the numbers they had put on the front of the when they deposited it. It was only then that she acknowledged that I had paid it the month before. I asked again why I was being charged $414.79 for a part that you can buy at Lowes for $28.00 and took less than an hour to install, she said she would refer it to their electrical manager. He said it was correct, they charge a flat rate. Really made me angry almost four hundred dollars and hour!? They asked what they could do and I said refund my Comfort Plus and give me the promised discount as I would not be doing business with them in the future. After several weeks they finally did but still stand firm on their billing practice. I brought this up at a dinner that I was at with three other couples and each one had told me they had the same issues and would never do business with them plus two of them said their business had also had problems with them and they had cancelled their business accounts. Hope this helps.

We were referred to Premier by our realtor & needed emergency service since our home had been struck by lightning. Adam was at our home within an hour of our call, even though it was a Sunday late afternoon & we are sure other homes were damaged by the same storm.
He was persistent to try to figure out what had been damaged from the storm. He was courteous and professional.
We have used Premier after this service call to do some more work for us.

I was living in Tuscaloosa at the time the tornado hit, in which it did damage to our house and the surrounding cedar crest area. I used this company on a whim and thought they would do a quality job. Well they came by inspected our water heater and told us there was air in the line which was making our pilot light go out (which we already knew). They left and charged us $135 and did ZERO work. If you're smart, make sure you dont use them as they one of the most unethical companies in their business practices as they were basically trying to profit off a natural disaster and the misfortune of others
