The business began in 2005 as Mojo Rooter, started by Jody Riggs. After a short closure due to illness, Alex Riggs returned to the field. Alex spent about a decade at Roto-Rooter and other companies before reopening the family business in 2018 under the name NW Sewer & Drain.

The company kept the family approach to service and added modern tools like hydro-jetters and camera inspection rigs. Jody is still part of the story and in good health.
