Beware of this company. We needed to have our Electric Water Heater replaced and I saw their coupon in the Value Pak; that should have been my first clue. The guy came out and looked at our water heater, told us what we knew, it has a small leak causing corrosion and it was to the unfixable point and needed to be replaced. I told them that when I booked. Then he gave me a quote for $1455 to replace our water heater with a 6 year 50 gallon tank, you know the kind that cost less than $300 at Lowes and takes less than 2hrs to buy drive home and install. Keep in mind we have no stairs and they could back the truck up to the garage and get the tank to and from the truck in less than 20 steps with no stairs. When I questioned the cost politely the guy asked me what I had expected to pay and when I explained I knew the water heater cost less than $300 and I expected to pay about as much in labor for a 2hr job he just stared at me blankly, like crap SAH Mom in working class neighborhood is educated. I told him I would have to talk to my husband about that kind of bill because I know the water heater should be around $300 and I didn't expect those rates for labor and sent him away but unfortunately not without losing $60 to find out what I already told them. I am glad I knew better than to pay $500+ in labor rates but sorry about the $60 educational fee I h ad to pay to learn how unethical this company is. I hope some people read this and I save you the on the spot education I got.
