I requested someone from Iron City to see about my water pressure because it was to high and causing my shower to leak. Donnie arrived a the appointed time and found a leak that was caused by too much pressure. He put on a stronger regulator and fixed the leak. He was very knowledge about my problem as well as polite and friendly. My work was covered by my home warranty. I was very pleased with Donnie's work as well as I was him as Well as I was with him explaining the work he was doing. Very good company as well as very good employee.

Joe came within the window of time provided. He gave me a heads up before arriving and also kept me updated as to each step he was doing to solve my issue. I had a home warranty claim and he walked me through the process and what to expect. He did a great job and we would definitely use them again for any plumbing needs!

We've had Iron Mountain out twice, once for a repair covered by our home warranty the second time we hired them to install a valve into the same shower. The first time, nailing down an appointment date/time was difficult. We got an email/text saying they were coming on a certain date/time only to have someone call that afternoon saying that was incorrect and that they weren't coming on Monday. On Monday I called to schedule and they put us down for Wednesday. We got a call Wednesday morning that the tech was sick. I called the warranty company and asked if they could schedule and confirm with them. They finally came out and made the repair on Thursday of that week. During that visit, conversing with Joe the tech, he told my my husband and I that Iron Mountain is ""different"" in that they don't charge for travel time.
Today's visit. Joe was scheduled to be at our house between 8-9am. I got a call from Joe at 7:52a saying that he was on his way and asking what kind of pipes we have, he wanted to make sure he didn't need to stop for anything. I told him, he said it ""sounds like I have everything I'll need on my truck, I'll see you shortly.""

I live in a gated community. Joe came thru the gate at 8:20. He may have arrived at my house 3 minutes later. Let's say that's the case. My invoice says he started at 8am. Let's say Joe was wrong and that he was made aware of the company policy at some between the week of our two visits. Unlikely, but We could deal with that. However, Joe wrote on our invoice that he finished at 10:30. Joe wasn't even at our house at 10:30. He finished before 10.
So I left that on my review that the company sends after service because I suddenly couldn't get anyone to answer the phone when I called.

Well the owner, Jeremy Purvis called and said that I can ""penny pinch anything."" Yes, I know, I can because it's my money I'm paying so I can and will if I deem it necessary. He and his company also can penny pinch anything by charging a customer for an extra hour of work at $145/hr. when their tech wasn't even at the house. His excuse, I got a deal anyway. He also suggested that I use someone else next time. Yes sir, sure will because I would rather pay for honest work even if it cost me more. How's that for a penny pincher?

Horrible service. The plumber they sent out had no idea what he was doing and he ended up reading a manual I gave him for most of the time he was here. His diagnosis was wrong, and my husband fixed the toilet himself. A waste of money. we let the company know our problem (but didn't ask for a refund), and they ignored our concerns. This company is totally unprofessional- just look at how they respond to bad reviews on google and Facebook.

Our Home Warranty Company Selected this contractor to come and fix an issue with a basement toilet. The technician showed up, on time, but said he had never seen a toilet like this before. It's your standard upflush basement toilet. He then sat and read the manual to try and troubleshoot it. Paid $100 service fee for the guy not to dianose the problem I knew it was. Ended up fixing it myself that night. Additionally, my wife felt that he was quite rude and would not listen to her. Considering she had more experience attempting to fix that product than he had, seems like a poor decision. He claimed that ""he only had an hour to diagnose the problem."" Kept telling her he was not going to fix it that day.

TL:DR- Tech came out and didn't know what he was doing despite being told the product he was working on in our claim.

They were supposed to be coming out to take a look at a property I'm about to purchase so I can get a quote on the day we had to make a final decision on it. They bailed last second. Wouldn't recommend if you need someone to be on time.
