Business Overview
Hi, I'm Brent, the owner of Honest Home Services. I started my plumbing journey here in West Jordan back in 1996 as a drain cleaning technician. Over the last 25-plus years, I've worked for several of the larger plumbing companies across the Wasatch Front, gaining a wealth of hands-on experience before enrolling in plumbing school to refine my skills. While I learned a lot, I found myself wanting to do more for our community. That's why I started my own company—to slow down, focus on the client, and provide the kind of personalized, honest service that can sometimes get lost with bigger corporations. We're a full-service plumbing company, and our goal is simple: to solve your plumbing problems right the first time, explain your options clearly, and help you feel confident in your home.

FAQs
What's the most common plumbing issue you see in West Jordan homes, and how do you fix it?
In West Jordan, kitchen grease clogs and general drain blockages are very common, especially with our local cooking habits and older plumbing systems in many neighborhoods. We tackle these clogs with professional-grade drain snakes and hydro-jetting equipment. More importantly, we take the time to show you how to prevent future clogs, like proper grease disposal, which can save you money and hassle down the line.
I have an old bathtub that needs replacing. What does your installation process involve?
Our bathtub installation service is thorough. We start by safely removing the old unit and inspecting the underlying plumbing and subfloor. We then install the new tub, ensuring it's perfectly level and sealed, and reconnect all water lines and the drain assembly. We'll walk you through the entire process and clean up the work area before we leave, so you can enjoy your new bath without any leftover mess.
My water heater is making noises. Can you repair it, or is a full replacement usually needed?
Strange noises from your water heater often point to sediment buildup, which is common with our local water. We can often repair this by flushing the tank and inspecting the heating elements and anode rod. However, if the unit is old or the tank itself is compromised, a replacement might be the more reliable and cost-effective choice. We provide a clear assessment and free estimate so you can make an informed decision for your home.
