Beware when you contact Coolray for a tune up on your air conditioner. I called Coolray office, to make appointment for tuneup on our air conditioner, I asked the lady if they were still offering the 29.00 dollars Home Depot offer, that they offered in the fall. She said yes. Now remember I said tuneup. She set me up for April 9 2024. Well the service man came out that morning, and the only thing he did was take pictures of our unit, and inspect everything, and tell us what is wrong with our unit and it will cost 500 to fix this and 500 dollars to fix that. I must say he was a nice gentleman, but I need to know up front before you walk in my garage I'm paying for a inspection, not a tuneup. My husband, and I went back and forth trying to explain to the gentleman the difference between a tuneup, and inspection. He stated they have had problems with that, because customers think they are getting a tuneup. He said I can have my manager call you. His manager call and said what were you expecting for 29.00. We don't do tuneup for that amount. Now I said , I was never informed that this would be a inspection because in the fall when one of the service guy came out he did a tuneup for 29.00 dollars. The manager response he was not supposed to do that. Then he apologized for the misunderstanding, and said thank you, and I will no longer do business with Coolray. He said I hope you reconsider doing business with us. This is me thinking to myself. Why would I continue to do business with Coolray, and you don't get the service you requested, and our money is a trouble thing to waste. Thanks, but No Thanks Coolray! It was not a pleasure doing business with you! Good bye!
