I called Clark Heating and Air because my AC wasn't cooling. They came out same day and diagnosed the problem. Because it was low on freon, it was kicking off the fan each time it would come on. I found Clark's prices for freon to be outrageous. Was it because I was an older lady by myself and he thought I didn't know any better? I don't know, but I own several rentals and know what freon costs. Anyway, I shut him down and told him to do nothing, paid the basic service fee and sent him on his way. I called Allen's Heating and Air, they came same day, added same amount of freon as Clark's was recommending. Even with paying a second service fee plus the freon, my bill from Allen's Heating and Air was literally half what Clark was going to charge. Needless to say, I Do Not recommend Clark's Heating and Air.

I am a retired senior citizen and I have done business with Clark for many years. I also pay monthly for a Clark Club membership. When my water heater failed and started leaking to flood my house; I couldn't get anyone but Clark to come and cap off the water line and I surely appreciate that. I then called my home warranty provider and they said no one would take the job and to get the work done and then provide a detailed work order/receipt to them for reimbursement. Although I knew Clark was estimating an overly high price, it was cold weather, and I had no hot water. I have no complaints with Clark's work but when I requested a detailed, itemized bill to provide to the home warranty company I was ignored. So, of course, this lets the home warranty company off the hook. I am very disappointed that Mr. Clark did not feel the need to assist a senior citizen lady living alone by simply providing an itemized receipt, despite my numerous calls and emails requesting it.

Don't walk run away from this business. Charged me $500 to replace a home kitchen garbage disposal. They charged $90 just to come to the house and give me a price, then the job was extra! Minus the cost of the disposal itself, the 30 minute job was $350. This means the labor for the job was $700 an hour!

Great customer service. Quick & efficient. They answered the phone with a smile and their workers showed up just as polite. During this time of COVID-19, they were wearing a mask also. That was greatly appreciated. I always give a company a 1st and second chance before I put them on the permanent list. They passed with flying colors both times.

Clark HVAC was outstanding! We had a very bad experience with another HVAC company in Montgomery (Trinity) and called Clark for a second opinion. Scott from Clark was quick to arrive, quick to point out the problems with the unit, and quick to get it up and running again. Thank goodness! Definitely recommend Scott and the entire team from Clark.

Make sure to get their promise in writing with a signature! There is no honest technicians anymore. He says he will not charge a service call if the problem occurs again but when he comes, he charges and he will argue that you have nothing in writing to prove his promise otherwise.
